Transponder Infrared H/HR-QWES LD
Advanced Cow Monitoring: Identification, Heat Detection & Rumination
Upgrade your herd management with the H/HR-QWES LD Infrared Transponder, a high-precision sensor designed for seamless integration with robotic milking systems and automated monitoring software. Using a cutting-edge digital MEMS accelerometer, this transponder captures high-sampling-rate data to analyze every movement of the animal, providing industry-leading accuracy in health and reproductive tracking.
Built to endure the harshest barn conditions, the main body is constructed from impact-resistant polyamide and thick polycarbonate. This ensures total protection against heavy physical loads, moisture, and the corrosive environments typical of a 24/7 dairy operation.
Core Functions
- Identification: Provides rapid and reliable cow ID as the animal enters the robot or sorting gates.
- Heat Detection: Accurate activity monitoring to identify peak estrus, helping you improve conception rates and reduce days open.
- Rumination Monitoring: Tracks digestive behavior to provide early warning signs of health issues or metabolic stress before they become clinical.
Features & Benefits
- Full Compatibility: A direct replacement and technical match for Allflex, SCR, Lely, and Milkline systems.
- Plug-and-Play Setup: Requires no software adjustments or complex configurations. Simply attach the transponder to the cow and enter the ID into your existing database.
- Superior Durability: Engineered to be more reliable and long-lasting than standard HR-TAG (SCR) sensors, with the ability to receive performance-improving firmware updates.
- Software Ready: Fully compatible with DataFlow II, Lely Horizon (T4C), and other major management platforms.

Technical Tip
When deploying new transponders, ensure the collar is fitted snugly but comfortably (typically allowing two fingers between the collar and the cow's neck). This ensures the MEMS accelerometer remains in the correct position for accurate rumination and activity readings. If you are migrating from older HR-TAGs, these units will communicate instantly with your existing Lely 530 or SCR 510 antennas without needing to update your hardware.
