Maintenance Tip: Protecting Your ID Signal
To ensure 100% read accuracy, periodically wipe down the surface of the curtain. While the internal antenna is welded for protection, a heavy buildup of dried manure or mineral deposits on the exterior can occasionally interfere with the signal range. Checking the mounting bracket bolts for tightness once a month will also prevent "curtain swing," which can lead to missed ID reads.
